The most noticeable difference is that the sofa, which faced away from the foot of the bed, and had a small coffee table in front of it, has been rotated. Slipping out of bed with infinite care, he crosses the room to retrieve the Powerbook from the coffee table near the sofa. He brings it back to the bed, where he props himself up against the headboard and sets the computer on his knees. He only pauses his rapid typing to occasionally draw his fingertip across the touchpad, sometimes frowning at the screen. Other than that, his face is entirely expressionless.*

Then, he yawns, and settles down himself, stretching out to his full height. He lies on his right side, facing her, his left arm thrown across her bare stomach, his head on her shoulder, and falls asleep.*
