I'm sure it was not by accident that you switched to the dark background that fills Sid's mind and feelings as he wrestle with who he is and comes to acceptance. This is as beautifully written as it is painful to read and feel every one of his thoughts searing the truth into him. Thank you for such powerful writing. The contrast between the cold outside and inside him, and the images of the large warm hands and muscles of the strong man he has always wanted, wow, all I can say is, wow. What the perfect comforter Geno is - open, compassionate and also one who hurt had Alex. Geno, along with Staalsy, are probably Sid's only true friends. Everyone else knows and expects Sidney the sham, Sidney the perfect, the Sidney that Sid can never be. Sidney has walked that lonesome valley, and walked it by himself. By accepting himself as he is, he can begin to love himself, and someday give his love to a man who wants him. I'm still rooting for Alex, although the man would have to be a saint after all the pain. You have done an incredible job ( ... )

Lol, you're giving me too much credit with the LJ layout. I was just too lazy to link the two chapters in the comm so the chapters just jump between it and my own LJ. Which is dark.

There's a lot more. I'm just struggling a bit with the next couple chapters but I'm getting there. After that I'll be posting more quickly again.
