Last week, due to extreme busy-ness, I had to tape Bones and just now got to watch it. And now I want to write a Neverwhere crossover, but really shouldn't. Somebody stop me?

And now a quick poll: Should I read V For Vendetta before seeing the movie? It is actually showing here but there's no telling for how long. The nearest good-sized bookstore ( Read more... )

hmm...graphic novels are one of those mediums where it doesn't really hurt the novel to see the movie first since often movies take scenes directly out of the novel. I saw Ghost World before reading the novel and I enjoyed the novel immensely because it was kinda like carrying around the movie with me :-).

I haven't read V for Vendetta but the movie is very good. Hugo Weaving has an incredible voice and there are many lines in the movie that are pure emerald. Given that I haven't seen it, my advice is that it won't matter that much if you read the novel after.
