Sharma Designs is my new favorite Etsy shop to lust after.

another way to update your jewelry is to get one or two silver chains (I prefer the box chain and snake chain) and then get a bunch of slides and pendants and switch them out to match your outfit for the day. I do this and I am always getting compliments. All of mine was purchased off ebay, which has the same stuff as in stores but much cheaper. Just be sure to look at a ruler and the size/dimensions of the pendant before purchasing it. I did get some that I expected to be larger than what they really were.

I do need a new silver chain, actually - I recently threw away a few that were old/tarnished/cheap/broken. Thanks for the tip!

Hey - have you also ever considered beading to make your own jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets)? It is a lot of fun!!

I've thought about it, but always felt a little intimidated by the idea. I don't feel as though I'm creative enough! And it seems like it might be pricey to make my own.

Am I way off base?
