Also, you may want to consider adopting the kittens at least as far as the inside of your apartment soon; otherwise, mommy-cat is likely to move them to another porch or under a shrub or something, if she feels that you might be threatening her kittens. I'd be more than willing to help with advice, remote kitten-feeding-financing, and kitten-pimping if so. :) Because you know I'm a tremendous sucker for kittens. :P

Um...No. It's going to be hard enough taking the fuzzy little buggers to a shelter when they've merely been living on my porch. Sharing a cave with them would jack the emotional quotient much too severely.

Despite the fact that I very recently lost a cat to hyperthyroid-kidney disease, the rest of my felines are creeping up on geriatric vet bills and I made D promise not to let me get another cat until I am down to one. Bug is 15 now, and looks about 5.
