Gentle was definitely a goal - these are older people, been through a lot, but they still had something to share with each other.

Side note: had a boyfriend for a year and a half in college who was a paraplegic. That's where I learned it's not all about the penis. It felt really good to put that into a story.

My dear -- I will always make time to read something you've written. I know your stuff is that good. The delicate way you put your experience with your college boyfriend into this is beautiful. I was in a wheelchair before my gastric bypass surgery ten years ago. I have several dear friends who cannot walk for various reasons. The way you wrote this was a blessing to me -- because Bobby's disability was just a part of him. It was a barrier to him more than to her. So -- I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

Wow, you've really created a history of connection between Bobby and Ellen that is years in the making for them - admiration, respect, real love and very sensory love making.

Ellen's a no-nonsense woman, and she shoots straight, which I love here as well. Bobby's body may have collateral damage but he is complete.

I had fun with Sam and Dean! I liked inferring there was shenanigans with them, but then that Dean still tried to pick up Jo and Sam got pissed :-D

Wooooowwwwwww. That was just amazing. I've read a Sam/Ellen from that same night that hot and wonderful but wasn't nearly as satisfying as this. What a great look at two people who want and need each other and how heartbreaking to know that it all ends tonight. Gorgeous.
