I am exhausted and slightly inebriated (margarita out of a bucket and then Bramble Berry wine), so clearly this is the perfect time to update.

The move went very well. I was pretty overwhelmed the morning of; no sleep on a hard floor makes Betsy a dull girl. I wasn't quite sure at that point how it would be physically possible to move the last four

Oh- I didn't tell you about the Bonfire when I talked to you... it was awesome, and you need to come too next time. They seem to do it a lot. Bring a sweatshirt and beer (not that they don't have any, or that they won't share, they just don't drink your kind.)

Betsy, I would love to be there for the next one. I'll bring my beer and their kind. They are the last of the Barretts in this neck of the woods, I want to reclaim my heritage. I wish Mom moved back up here. But, I am grateful for the moments I get to spend with her, my greatest birthday gift ever. Sleep well, we'll hang soon. It is soooooo cool to have u nearer to me. Tell Joe I can't quit him.

MMMMMMMMM Bramble Berry!!!!! I just tried that for the first time Sunday :) :) That's very good. Hazlitt is so good! I love the Lame Duck and Red Cat ofcourse. I bought Red Cat Jello Shots, i can't wait to have a reason to make them!

I LOVE Hazlitt! Red Cat has got to be my favorite- nothing beats a good sweet red wine (but not too sweet, juuuuust right!) What's this about Red Cat Jello Shots?

Hmm... have you ever looked at the Hazlitt website? They sell some interesting things, not to mention a Red Cat thong! Oh, if only it would fit lol!

I mean... who came up with that? ha ha, I think I'm going to the Red Cat's 21st birthday party.
And let me point out that I'm not a lush, you just happened to hit on my favorite. lol

I bought a bottle of Red Cat with the "Top Secret Recipe" on how to make the Jello Shots. It even came with little cups!!!!!

25 two oz Plastic souffle' cups
One cup boiling water
One 3 oz box raspberry gelatin
1/4 envelope unflavored gelatin
400ml Hazlitt Red Cat
1/2 cup ice

Bring one cup water to a boil. Stir in gelatins until dissolved. Remove from heat and add ice. Allow the ice to melt which cools the blend before adding the wine. This will prevent the alcohol from burning off. Stir in Red Cat and pour blend into cups. Refrigerate overnight. Makes approx. 25 shots.

We bought one for $1 each. They were SOOOOOOOOO good!!!!

And my family almost bought me the thong while we were there!! But i yelled at them and said "NO! That'll fit my right leg!" LOL

Oh, and have you had the Lame Duck before? It's just like Red Cat but only bubbly :) Mmmmmmmm But i do like how Red Cat has it's own chant. :)

I haven't tried the Lame Duck, but I saw it in the Newark Valley liquor store- I'll make it a point to try it.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who had that thought about the thong. Crazy funny gift though.
