Reasons it is acceptable to call someone at 6:30 am on a Saturday:

• You already know for certain that they will be awake for something, like a competition, and want to wish them luck
• You are their best friend, in distress, and really need to talk
• You wish to inform them they have won a great deal of money

Reasons it is totally not okay to call someone

I could believe that at 3am, but 6? That would be dedication.

I didn't actually get to the phone in time, but he sounded sober enough on the voicemail.

Sounds like he has magnificently bad timing.

Did he take the entire 2 months to call you back? Because if so ... yeah. That does not speak highly of him either.

I hope he has something else going for him.
