On a happier note, congratulations to both Maine and New Hampshire, whose respective legislatures both just voted to permit gay marriage. Human rights FTW!

On a less good note, some groups in WA are trying to Prop. 8 our new domestic partnership law, even though it uses different terminology. And this is Washington, which would have been the second state with universal marriage were it not for the vote of one supreme court justice...
