Yay for another Torchwood fan! I really like the show (especially season two), even despite its imperfections. At the moment, though, I'm counting the nanoseconds before Saturday's new Doctor Who episode (part one of the two-part season finale). Tick tock tick tock . . . .

I watch who on SciFi, so I am several episodes behind, I think. Their airing schedule is downright odd. I am currently waiting for the other half of "Silence in the Library"

Ah, yes, SciFi, which cuts down a few minutes of each episode . . . annoyed me until my sister found each episode on YouTube shortly after its initial British broadcast.

As for Torchwood, it aired on BBC America, which, of course, is available to ever so few Americans. Actually, I hear it's the most-watched show on BBC America. Ever. Which either says a lot about Torchwood's entertainment value or just means that we Americans are more interested in watching a sexy new sci-fi import than we are in watching Charles Dickens and Jane Austin novels in miniseries form.

Oh, and I forgot to mention . . . I wrote a what-will-happen-in-the-finale quiz for Doctor Who. Back in the good old days, my dad and I used to write a quiz for each season finale of Star Trek, starting with the DS9 two-hour series finale. At the moment, my sister and I are the only ones actually taking the quiz, since neither of my parents are much into Who. (For some unfathomable reason, the show creeps my dad out -- probably the only instance in living memory that we've revealed different cultural tastes. And my mom enjoys it but almost never watches it, mainly because my dad doesn't and she'd rather not exclude him.)

If you want, I can email the quiz to you (assuming you haven't changed email addresses) when there are only two episodes to go here. It's filled with all sorts of exciting multiple choice questions (like "What will happen to So-and-So?" and "Which of these lines will be said?"). The quiz has a few spoilers for the next couple of episodes to air in the US.
