Time waits for no man.  Neither does it hang about in Central Bedfordshire.  DD came home today with her application form for a place at Upper School next year and a big thick book with frankly more information in it than I care about.

Today is the first day of the new school term.  Hurrah... I can get DD out from under my feet for a few hours today.

After a summer of her barely being awake at 9.00am and beyond, she's rattling around on a 6am alarm.  However, she doesn't need to leave the house until 7.45am and all she has to do is dress herself, so I don't know what on earth she ( Read more... )

The last day of school for DD, and it's a good job too as that school jumper is going straight in the bin at the end of today.  In solidarity with one of the most 'fashionable' practices at school, she has chewed the ends of the cuffs and left them looking like they are better suited to the wardrobe department of Oliver!  I have sewn them up twice ( Read more... )

Oh hello, this is Mrs Lewis.  DD from 7XX  will not be at school today,  She was trying to pull something off her bedroom ceiling last night, fell, hit the radiator and now can't sit down.

Yeah... go for the truth, it'll give them a laugh from all the friday duvet days

DD's school has just had official confirmation that they are indeed through to the Southern Finals of Rock Challenge 2009.

Highest placed runner up apparently.

Yay!!!

I have some very good news to share.  It seems that DD's school has gone through to the Rock Challenge regional finals as one of the highest placed runners up.

EDIT 27/04 - looks like that has not been confirmed.
