Whoop!  The BBC are taking Doctor Who on tour and shipping Matt Smith and  Karen Gillan out on a big old bus for a pre-series meet and greet with the fans.  Great! Wonderful! I can't think of any better way of raising the profile of the new pairing and generating a bit of a buzz for the new series.  Not that we need much extra buzz around Doctor ( Read more... )

You need to visit Cardiff. There's a permanent Dr Who exhibition there.

Connie and I nearly went in but it was too expensive and we weren't that interested. It's in Cardiff Bay/Bute Town, right next to Red Dragon FM.

I'm not going to complain too loudly about Northampton... It's just down the road for me :D

It's just up the road from me, but it's not exactly 'hard to reach'

Reminds me of when I originally moved to Midsomer Harrumph (from Middle Narnia) - everyone thought Bedfordshire was 'up North'!! Sad, but true. :D

I think Bedfordshire is one of those counties that everyone finds hard to place unless they actually live there

When a person travelled from the International Airport (yes we do have an international airport) into Belfast......there was a great big sign.......which said "Welcome to Belfast" and underneath a home made sign said "twinned with Beirut and Sarajevo".
Now it looks like we are twinned with Sunderland and Northampton.
Now that makes me feel nostalgic LOL
