I'm part of an Etsy Street Team called the Big Damn Crafters. There are a lot of people there, doing a lot of awesome Firefly-related stuff. Not all of it costuming by any means, but you still might want to take a look

I'm thinking about doing one in lapis for myself, once I get beads good enough for it. And that's the problem -- for a piece like this, you need _awesome_ beads. Garnet or carnelian would be really great, too -- I'll have to keep an eye out for the right beads to do it with. Could be a whole series!
