So I was reading a HP fic and part of the summary was "Ten Reasons Why Love Doesn't Always Mean Forever" and it got me thinking about my ships for whom love just wasn't enough and I came up with 13 of them. Here through the lex_and_lana comm! And those are awesome choices! I did really like Lex/Lana and I'm a total Peyton/Jake and Rory/Jess shipper!

I really liked your explanations too.

And who knows, maybe when she's done following the Obama campaign, Rory'll head back to Philly and follow her heart.

I always liked to imagine that Rory & Jess hooked up after the show's end. What can I say? A girl can dream! :D

I girl can definitely dream. I'm really glad you like my choices; it took a very long time to think of all my options and then to cut it down to five. And it's nice to see another Lexana, Literati, and Jeyton fan.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone do one of these lists where I ship (or shipped) each of the pairings. Despite my love for all of them, I think Jake and Peyton might just be my all time, why could this not happen (aka damn you bryan greenberg for wanting a film career) ship. I'm so glad to see them on this list.

Jake/Peyton are definitely my top OTH ship, even if they didn't make the top of the list. And it's always nice to meet another Jeyton fan.

Jeyton is (was) the best thing that ever happened to One Tree Hill. I was depressed for like a year when it ended. And correction to previous comment, Jeyton didn't end because Bryan Greenberg (Jake) wanted a film career. Mark Schwan (the creator) decided that Jake was "the one" for Peyton (and that Brooke was the one for Lucas), but then Chad Micheal Murray (Lucas) and Sophia Bush (Brooke) got married (in real life) and he had an affair (in real life) and they got a divorce (now just friends), so Brooke couldn't end up with Lucas, so it had to be Peyton, but that meant "bye bye Jake" (tear, tear). So damn you Chad and whatever your misstress' name was. It's all your fault.

JEYTON WILL LIVE FOREVER!

Jake should've been the one for Peyton. They were perfect together. I've been holding out hope for Jake's return since the last time we saw him, and I don't know if he'll ever come back, but I'm not giving up on that hope any time soon.

I'm one of the rare people that enjoyed S3 of VM as well. Yeah, they weren't together together but you just know they will be. Like you said. It's epic.

Fingers crossed that the VM movie gets made!

I really agree with all apart from Peyton/Jake and that's because I haven't seen One Tree Hill. Great banners and I love your blurbs about them. :-)
