Computer is working (for the moment), so of course, a meme

Have backed it the hell up. Going to attempt to update Flash in Firefox, as I *think* that's part of the problem. Meanwhile, I've been meaning to write & post this for some time.

Comment to this post, and I'll give you seven topics to talk about, which you then post your LJ/DW, and so the meme spreads.

Here are the topics

Here you go, shamelessly ganked from your interests list as I am a tad zombified: baking, candles, beer, musicals, pantheism, photography, pub bands

I know what you mean about the Favorite Fic Ever; that's a loaded question.

May I have seven?

that's a lot of holidays!

i don't like picking favorites in general - it's too hard to choose! and favorite fanfic - feels pretty impossible.

i love to travel and want to do more of it, too.

i'll take seven, please. :)

Actually, when you think about it, it really isn't. By comparison, start with every Sunday (so 52 right there) plus Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter (which seems like double-counting since it's a Sunday, but anyway), Pentecost, and any number of other "holy days of obligation" I've forgotten from the Catholic calendar. Granted, if I tried to do all the Buddhist and Hellenic festivals, I'd be doing nothing else, ever, but as it is, my holiday calendar is much lighter than the one I grew up with. :D

Your 7: dancing, gemstones, pastels, poetry, redwoods, reiki, rocks

hmm. i don't think of every sunday as being a holiday, but i guess they are technically 'holy days of obligation.' i celebrate so few anymore that i suppose i've lost sight of how many there actually are if one is observant.
