So, I was all excited when Borders sent me the notice that Dave Mustaine* would be signing his autobiography today. Sadly, it turns out he is doing this in Milford, which is about 2 hrs away. Hence, I'd have to hit the road in something like fifteen minutes to get there at the supposed start, never mind that there's probably already a damn line

You might call the store and see if you can get them to sell you a signed copy.

It's worth a shot. I tend to think of signings as "get people in the door" events, but maybe. A sale is still a sale, right?

Milford CT right? Dammit!! I would have so made the field trip to Milford (if I still lived in CT) to see that. Yeah, you know it's bad when Alcoholica Metallica tells you drink too much. To hear his vocals on the early demos is so bizarre, and I've been there since '84 with Metallica.
