Thank goodness I did actually put this on LJ under the tutoring tag, but given that it's almost 3 yrs old, I'm bumping it up in case I need it again soon. Maybe it's due to my poor French, but when I have a look at the first link, I don't get at all what they are trying to do. Strange that it's so different from country to country. I remember that I once saw how Americans do some maths, and I was clueless as well.
