New student orientation, GSA, back to school prep, and general rambliness

Orientation was boring as hell. Not entirely unexpected, as community college students typically want to go to class, go to work, and go home, not join clubs, though lately the population has been getting quite a bit younger than when I started. Thanks. I'm trying to do better about tolerating the incompetence with humor rather than getting aggravated. It's ... a work in progress. ;-)

Easiest shot I've ever had. I swear, she missed every nerve and blood vessel. Couldn't even figure out where to put the bandaid after! Guess I got lucky.

Now, when I got my tetanus, that's what my arm was like. Ouch!
