Trying out Dreamwidth

No, I'm not going anywhere. I've been doing both LJ and IJ for a couple of years. I can manage another continuously open tab, and I'm intrigued to watch how it Dreamwidth develops. I will probably make reading filters for myself, which I've also done with IJ, so that I'm not reading the same posts multiple times

It does sound like the perfect platform for a fic journal but the cost looks somewhat prohibitive at the moment for me to consider getting an account. Any idea what a person has to do to wrangle an invite?

Creating an OpenID account and validating your email address may or may not still be a way to get a code. Other than that, see if friends who're trying it out get codes to share. If I get any, I'll keep you in mind.
