I tutor lots of subjects. Just about any math except stats. Bio 1 & 2, A & P 1 & 2, and Concepts of Chemistry. There's lots to choose from

I, too, am a miserable bitch when trying to figure something out. Not a great study-buddy at all! Unless it is with somebody studying something else and we just leave each other alone.

Exactly! And then ... what's the point? Unless it's someone that you just want to be near that badly that it doesn't matter what you're both doing, which tends not to be a random person.
I know your position entirely. I can re-explain something, but only hen it's straight in my own head...
But apart from the oddities of the staff, are you getting on OK?
Mind you, I have just been looking at my course requirements and assignments due pages online, and I think I need to go and have a lie down, let alone be a grotty bitch for the next 3 years... Know anyone who tutors theology?

Other than that, so far so good. I aced the pre-test. We have our first quiz on actual microbiology stuff on Wednesday.

I know someone who probably would except for the fact she's just starting up her law practice. (Yes, the lunatic did an M.Div. and a law degree both. And I think I'm a swot? LOL)
I do understand. I'm also a miserable bitch when I'm trying to work through a concept, and when something is self-evident to me I get a bit irritated if I have to explain it times ten. Studying is best done alone, imho :D

Exactly! Once I'm no longer concerned about being responsible for the material myself, I'll re-explain the most basic stuff as many times as needed. But in the meantime ... no way.

*nods*
I realize study groups work for some people. They just really don't tend to work for me.

A very tempting idea. Although I'd rather just bite the idiot who decided to sign someone up with me as one without talking to me first.
