Meant to post this earlier. Even if you're not huge into Snarry (and I'm not, I like my Snape het, or maybe bi, because, well, otherwise how'm I gonna get my hands on him? ;-), it's a very good read. It's called Old Bugger's Disease by junediamanti aka Azazello. Have tissues handy.

And here's a major compliment for you. Someone on my f-list who not only doesn't read Snarry, but has never read any of the HP books, read "Old Bugger's Disease" and loved it.
