I don't know what "special" friends means, but I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!

I'm psyched for the Sox game..it'll be the third one we've gone to this season..we kept lucking out with the cheapo seats...

And for some odd reason, I'm excited for football..last season Steve tried to teach me all about it and I kind of got into it...(yeah Pats!)

i've been to three this year, and have tickets to next weeks Friday game against the rangers, but Tina has to work late, and I hate getting to the ball park late. I'll end up posting them on E-bay...

I love football, but I'm a Bills fan :-)

Thanks! I've been smoking for almost 12 years and I'm only 23...Apparently though, my heart is telling me I need to quit...It's stupid that it takes something scary like this to get me to quit. How retarded.

I haven't been to a Red Sox game in a few years. I've only been to three. However, I've just recently been to a PawSox game down in Pawtucket with decent seats. Got to see Brian Daubach hit a homer, but they still lost the game.

Congrats on the smoking thing. I never started myself... I have other vices that are expensive enough. :)
But, I have habits to change for health reasons too, but hopefully they'll only be temporary.

I'm originally from Providence and I remember going with my dad and my sister to Pawtucket games when we were little...

Back then I wasn't so concerned with the baseball, but I do have a clear memory of the ice cream that came in miniature helmets. :op

Thanks on the smoking thing..I think it will be easier now that there's no smoking in bars...(And when that law was enacted I was PISSED.)

Good luck on your health-related endeavors as well!!

Good luck on your health-related endeavors as well!!

Thanks. Mostly, it's dietary... cutting out as much wheat and corn as possible. Plus, I'll be taking some holistic nutrient supplements when they come in (mail order). It's only for a couple of months, then I get rechecked. Shouldn't be too bad. There's lots of other things I can nosh on.

Good for you... it sounds like ur going through w/drawal. It will be pretty rough, sometimes exercise can help with the symptoms. Remember after 30 days... most of the nicotine in your system should have been flushed and then your cravings will pretty much be mental after that! You can do it!

I don't know if I'm going through withdrawal quite yet...I only quit on Tuesday technically after my heart started skipping beats..so whatever is wrong with my heart isn't because I quit smoking because it happened before I quit.

I'm trying to drink a ton of water and the exercise is a good idea, although I'm a little scared to push it because of the heart thing..although once I call my doctor hopefully she'll tell me I'm a hypochondriac. (Which is what my sister is going to tell me anyway...)

WHOA... he can score Pats tickets?

Is there any way he could help me get tickets to opening day on that Thursday night?

I don't know exactly what he's capable of..but he's constantly shooting down to Miami to go skidooing and catch a Dolphin's game and I know he has tickets to a couple of Pats games so I figure it can't hurt to ask if he knows anybody..

I'll see what he can do for both of us!
