Long Story Short... Despite telling me, my insurance agent, my surgeon's insurance specialist and my GP's insurance specialist that Bariatric Surgery is covered, apparently now, they say it isn't. My father has decided that he's got the time, energy and legal know-how to fight it on my behalf. Apparently, it's an exception that is not covered for

Keep fighting for it. file appeals. Fight fight fight fight fight. Fight like your life depend on it. If it didnt, you wouldnt be looking at surgery in the first place.

Search for support groups who might be able to help you with insurance services.

Have you ever been to obesityhelp.com? there is a lot of snarky stuff that happens like on all chat boards, but also there is a lot of experience to pull information from..... I luckily didnt have to battle kaiser...but lots of people have to battle their insurance companies... find those people and ask for help. I wish I had more... I just have no experience with this.
