aweeeeee! This is terrible! TERRIBLE! (in a good way, obvs.) Terrible but amazing. This is so poignant! Poor Chloe and Clark and Superman and Lois. So much emotion in this, from love to guilt to fear and regret but it's all Chlark.

Wow! Now this is brilliance. Loved it.

The guilt is so palpable. I really truly hope that the Chloom arc isn't what is responsible for Lois' death. I don't think Chloe would be able to forgive herself.

Well, we don't know that Lois is going to die. I just thought I'd like to explore the tragedy of her death for both Clark and Chloe.

I love your angst, especially your serious angst. At first it seems like Chloe's anger is directed at Clark, but really it's directed at her and I really enjoyed that idea. That Chloe would be punishing herself for her choices that led to Lois dying; and it seemed realistic.

I think Clark believes her anger is directed at him too, but in my mind Chloe can't stay angry with Clark for very long. It's not in her nature. I think it's much more likely she would direct that anger towards herself.

"Between them there’s a bond that defies explanation" ...so true. I can see Chloe preparing herself for martyrdom and then having a hard time forgiving herself for living. A really touching and beautiful story; thank you for sharing it.
