I wrote this fic like 18 months ago, but I have never posted it anywhere.  I think I’ve been saving it for something, but that something never came along.  So, I’m posting it now.

Yes, the world is safe. And Clark is safe to save the world again another time. Phew!

They should save the world everyday, whether there's actually anything going on or not. :)

Chloe did what she did not to reward Clark so much, but to help him readjust to our dimension. She should probably reward him next.

I love how selfless and sacrificing Chloe is in the name of world saving. But I think Chloe is traumatized by the experience, too. It would only be courteous for him to help her right back.

Chloe is a very giving person. She'd never admit it, but I'm sure the experience was very stressful for her. Now that Clark has his senses back he should definitely do something to help Chloe work through her stress. They're always there for each other. It's what's so beautiful about their friendship.
