So today I am working from home because it is snowing and the bossman is out of town so we may be abusing our power a little bit. It's true! Though I did have actual work to do (for once) too. ;)

They had graphs during the whole thing - this one is still a mystery to me.
Yay! I would love love love a high speed rail system (that is cheaper than the Acela and actually high speed)!

he actually made a joke! He was talking about how ridculous some of the government agencies divide things and he was like "one department handles Salmon when they're off season and another department handles them when they're moving up stream, I can't imagine what department will handle them when they're smoked!" or something

it was funny in context and a lot of people laughed for a second and then waited a second before they laughed even harder - fucking Obama man, cracking funny little jokes like that in the state of the union. I fucking love him.

Oh, god, I slept through the State of the Union last night, and when I got on-line this morning almost my entire twitter feed was a bunch of people going, "SALMON!?" Hell, even Obama in that screencap looks all, "Whut" about it.

It's ok you silly sleepy kid, I was too drunk to really follow a lot of it. Hence my serious confusion over the salmon.
