oh so where do I even start.

when you mentioned that you were writing a college!au, I was honestly much more excited that I ever allowed myself to admit, and you delivered beyond what I could even dare to hope for. Francis is an art major who plays the piano and Matthew and Alfred dancing to Hakuna Matata I am not lying when I tell you it brought tears to my eyes and.

and the painting and watercolours and the boy who waited and I'm just. wow. it seems like you referenced almost everything I love and I just. The atmosphere in the whole thing, the calm way you bring out the story - it's never stressed, it's just going on in perfect harmony with the words ( ... )

LOL when I started reading this I went oh crap who is this how does this person know me what

asldjf;lakjdljf;a; thank you so much, hon, you are just one of the sweetest people in the entire world. I'm so glad I got a tumblr because I don't think we would have become friends otherwise, and think how sad that would be! D:

I really like little domestic details, too! (That's probably really obvious because that's all my fics are, really) and, yes, Matthew and Alfred with Hakuna Matata was one of my favourite parts to write. I can't watch The Lion King without thinking of them, now.

tl;dr thank you for reading and leaving such a great comment! ♥♥

All my love. Alfred! You precious precious child you!

“I want to grow old and dance to Disney songs with you,”

OH MY FUCKING GOD! This line absolutely killed me. I cant. I remain to my dying day that Alfred F. Jones in love is the cutest thing in the fucking world. I just.

Also, Francis and Arthur. I was over here going "HE RECITED POETRY FOR YOU, ON FACEBOOK, AND YOU FINISHED IT FOR HIM! OMG!" followed by strangling the air motions.

I just everything was perfect and beautiful and warm and cozy and brilliant, so brilliant. So touching but just so and not a touch more. I love it. I love it. Ah!

I'm still speechlessssssss you have no idea how lovely this story is, darling. The domesticity and Alfred and Francis and Arthur being the dickheads they are because they're in love and clumsy and stupid as fuck, and Matthew being the intermediary to everything ever, andandand waffles and crepes and macarons! And, just, I've had my heart scraped raw by ALL THE REICHENBACH PLAYLISTS and also this spoilery Fall pic please send help for the last couple days so this slice of sunshine and poetry and affection is warming me up and just. ♥ Hi. I love you.

Also hi Facebook chats I hadn't seen! Arthur is watching Downton Abbey because he's pining after Francis a,fklzf, alz, dza this is hysterical. And Alfred, beautiful beautiful boy, never stop. ♥

Clumsy, stupid boys are terribly endearing, aren't they? I just can't seem to get enough of them! And food, of course. Food makes everything better.

REICHENBACH AS;DLKFJALSKDJFA;LJD;FA I've literally just watched it and I just I don't I can't even I just THAT ENDING and we have to wait, what, another year and a half for the next season? MY HEART CANNOT TAKE THIS. IT CAN'T. IT CAN'T. I CAN'T.

Aw, you. I'm glad this warmed you up - although, if you watched Reichenbach after reading this... was the effect negated, then? (god. I still can't get over it. I'm so glad there's no school tomorrow. I wouldn't pay any attention in class.)

Downton Abbey, I thought you'd appreciate that one! Oh, I can't thank you enough, really. Your comments and critique made this far, far better. ♥

Hello, I love you too ♥

REICHENBACH THOUGH. I JUST - I'M NOT OVER IT, I DIDN'T THINK I'D BE SO AFFECTED. I DIDN'T THINK I'D CRY. I DIDN'T. And then John and the cemetary and the two of them reaching out for each other's hands from afar because no matter what anyone says or what name gets put to it - romance or bromance or epic friendship or codependency - they still love each other so fucking much. My boys. My boys. Fuckfuckfuck I love them so much, I just. I. ♥

It's nearly been twenty hours since I began watching it last night, and I'm still not over it.

I'M - I'M NOT QUITE OVER IT EITHER. I didn't quite cry, but I made lots of strange noises while watching it. Brother was terribly annoyed with me. Told me to shut up at one point. I'm like, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAAAAAND

The cemetery scene - I just. I'm still. I can't, damn it, I can't. It just. Exceeded all my expectations. I didn't think I'd be so affected either, but. But.

/still in a state of shock, yeah

My heart is racing and I want to cry. That is what good stories do to me.

This was lovely, fantastic, adorable, funny, and great. I loved every little piece of it, the details, the pop reference, the poetry reference, the characterization, Francis's Painting, Alfred's Hakuna Matata and silly romantic movies, Matthew's hockey and pancakes, Arthur's patronus, toasts, grumpiness. I loved Matthew, Alfred, Francis, Arthur. Everything.

The way they first met, their moments together, their getting together, the ending (or beginning if you look at it in another way).

I loved this.
Thank you so much for writing, this is one of my favorite stories now. <3

Oh, goodness, where do I even begin to thank you for such a lovely comment? I'm so glad everything worked for you - the details, the references, the food, the characterizations. I'm not going to lie - it was not easy to write this! I rewrote things several times, put it on the back burner to work on other things, so it was certainly a labor of love.

(but I do love the way it turned out, if I say so myself! :D)

Thank you for reading. I'm so happy that you enjoyed it! (and am thrilled to have made your favorites list!)
