I'm really enjoying how subtle and slowly things are moving along. There wasn't this one-two-punch! Of Romance and the boundaries that have been set up are only coming down very, very slowly. This is the right way to write a ship, especially an AU ship. Build it carefully and with plenty of space for the characters to move around in. It's a fanfic, there's no need to rush it, and you're not.
