I like that book for pointing out that we can't even digest cellulose: it's a mild poison. What makes us think we could digest the sugars of another planet problem free if we still get genetic damage from lettuce?

haha, i'm also amused by the graffiti snail... but as you said, that might get them picked off by birds or other predators. ^^;
