The Hobbit movies update~

The Hobbit movies have finally begun casting! <(^_^<) <(^_^)> (>^_^)>

And surprisingly, I accidently stumbled upon where to submit your head shot and your resume if you're actually interested in being cast in the Hobbit. Even if I had acting experience (I perform as a dancer, does that count? ;A;), it still sucks that there are no Asians in Lord ( Read more... )

Just as there were no Asians in old Denmark, and yet there was random-Asian-lady-in-purple-who-shouted-"Treachery!" in the Hamlet movie :'D

There was also a random Asian lady extra in the fanmovie Born of Hope, if looks don't deceive me. But hey, I have mistaken plenty of non-Asian ppl for Asians and vice versa.

Luke Goss as Thranduil would be hhhnnngh ♥

Hahahaha, hell, at this rate, I'd be an Orc so you wouldn't even tell that I was Asian. xD; I KNOW there were Asian stuntmen/women doing the Orcs.

UUUGH YES. I would die a very, very happy girl if he was cast. Del Toro already favors him and we all know how amazing of a job he did as Nuada, so here's to hoping! d^_^b

If I based in NZ I would be going for it as I have well over 20 years acting experience. Thankies for the link.

Luke Goss would be fab as Thrandril. I would be just happy with an unknown as Orlando was an unknown when he got Legolas.

Wooooow, that's cool! Maybe you should try it? ^^; I think such a project would be worth going to NZ for a while.

Yeah! :D It's just that when people start to list names like David Bowie, I start to cringe. X.x

O.o They announced this two years ago lol. It just kept getting delayed. PJ is back but not as the director, just the producer. Del Toro is directing, and from what I've seen of how he's done movies like Hellboy II, I have total faith that he'll do beautifully. :)

OOoooh. Not really sure, they've split the movie into two because the hobbit is too much cover in one. I... think. xD; There's rumors that the second movie may be to "bridge" the Hobbit w/ the triology, but who knows. @_@;
