Feel free to slap me for being too ambitious. xD

I'm still being so indecisive. :/ I actually went and bought about $40 worth of art supplies over the course of this week and I still don't know if I should really go through with the crazy plan in my head or not.

Poll I need another cosplay for Tekko 8!

Neptune would be the easiest out of the three, but I'd also have to dish out a lot of money for my friend's mom to make the beautiful ( Read more... )

sailor moon, pictures, cosplay, yu-gi-oh!

Wouldn't you be half-naked with Atem's ...piece of clothes?

I voted for Princess Neptune - so pretty!!!!!

Not his original manga Pharaoh form, nope. (http://fc04.deviantart.com/fs20/f/2007/297/0/7/Pharaoh_Atem_and_Ra_by_slifertheskydragon.jpg ) I think you're talking about the one from the anime where they made him shirtless. xDDD Yeeeeah I'm not doing that one.

D: I would love to do Neptune but she'll be like, a few hundred (US) dollars and I don't know if my wallet wants to take that hit, lol.

aaah, okay.

:( That much? Now that sucks. How much would the Atem one cost?

It'd actually be really cheap to make, actually. ^^; The armor and the gold paint and the stuff needed to make it metal-like costs less than $30, and my friend (and I) can probably make the tunic/cape for about the same price. :D It'd just be a bitch to make, but it'd be the cheapest out of the three options.

The thing with Yami Yugi is that he wears leather/PVC clothes and that stuff is like, $50 at the CHEAPEST. (Leather is usually around $200.)

You could wear his cloak, and I know how you love his cloak! XD

LOL. Bias much?

D: I do love his cape. It's so cool and gravity-defying and layered and stuff. It'll be a bitch to make though, haha. I'm thinking of getting one of my cosplay friends to make it, I don't trust my ability. xD

Me? Biased? Of course not. >_> LOL.

If you could get your friend to make the cape then that would take at least some stress of off you. I'm just wondering how you're going to pull off the gravity defying bit... BUT, I'm sure you'll be fine. *patpat*

If you don't mind me asking, how do you decide who you're going to cosplay?

Nah I doubt I'll be doing the gravity defying bit. xD; Already waaaay too worried about the jewelry and the wig, haha. Tekkoshocon is in the same place with the awesome roof, though, and knowing Pittsburgh it's ALWAYS windy, so hopefully that'll make up the gravity defying-ness? 8D

Uhhhh totally random. 8DDDDD Well, I always cross off people I know I physically can't pull off --namely really big, tall guys and really curvy women (like Trish from Devil May Cry). That leaves me with girly guys and pretty girls, I guess, haha.

I get struck with inspiration randomly. :/ Atem was from a "HOLY SHIT, I SHOULD TOTALLY TRY!" moment about a week ago. Haku from Spirited Away struck me yesterday, so I could do him too. xD I dunno, it's random. I guess I really have to want to cosplay someone and then angst about the costume for a bit before going through it. I've already invested so much of my brain into trying to figure Atem out that I think it'd be a shame if I didn't at least give him a try. :/
