RAWK. I have variable expectations for the films at this point, but am jazzed about the craziness starting all over again. :)

I think everyone does, lol. PJ's directing style was PERFECT for LOTR (although it was a bit TOO dramatic for other things like King Kong *winces*) but Del Toro has a bit more of a subtle manner. He's really freakin' artistic though 'cause he used to be a costume designer himself, so I know it'll at least be eye candy. 8D

mmm, lotr. :D i'm going to have to take time to marathon the movies when i finally have time to.

man, the smell even got through gloves? o_O; eek.

Yeah, a little. They were soaked in ethanol too, so that's probably why. I think the smell kind of soaked into my clothes. D:

haha, i have seen them. only once each, though. D: but i own the extended edition dvds, so... XD

Elrond is totally in the Hobbit. He explains Sting, Bilbo's sword, n'stuff.

I can't remember if Mirkwood elves are in it or not... Are the the ones in the barrel riding scene? I know they don't fight the spiders.

Yeah they are. The Elvenking Thranduil and his people were partying when the dwarves and Bilbo stumbled into their party. Then they got all locked up and the elvenking was pissed for a while. XD There was some giant battle too, but I don't really remember. It involved a lot of races, like men and elves and dwarves.

Man I read this book in middle school, I barely remember. D:

I am eagerly awaiting the movie so much. Its great to see Hugo back as Elrond. At first I wasn't dure about his casting in LOTR but he has grown on me. So it wil be great to see him again.

I'm so looking forward to seeing the Mirkwood elves. Really keen to see who they cast as Leggy's dad. I'm so going to bring out my legolas costume again when it prems.

I think he matches Elrond well. He's just got so much presence, even with his crazy eyebrow technique.

*nodnod* Omfg, I have such a unhealthy obsession with Legolas and Thranduil, I'm going to freak out when they announce who is cast as what. D: The Mirkwood elves better be freaking beautiful AND badass!!

Oooh cosplaying Legolas? So lucky. xD I've always wanted to do that, but I look terrible as a blond.
