CALIFORNIA, FAIL. T_____________T

I commend the 48% of you that tried to shoot it down. And Apple Inc. and Levi Jeans and all the companies that showed their support for gay marriage. *SIGH*

I can't believe they actually voted to screw with the freaking Constitution to take civil rights away. It's insane.

I know. Wtf. Whatever happened to EQUALITY FOR ALL? Obama's proven that race is (supposed to be) no longer an issue, so why is homosexuality still a problem?

I don't understand people's logic nowadays. D: I'm straight and I don't feel threatened at all by gay marriage.

It doesn't surprise me actually. The state isn't liberal as people would like to think.

It actually is a very close race (I guess not all the precints have reported in, but I doubt it'll change the final outcome) so the "good" news, if it can be called that, is that it is something that is a lot closer to becoming a reality than I would've thought possible. Maybe it'll happen the next election, or the next one... it's hard to say. But I do think the tide will eventually change, and then the general population will all be looking for someone else to hate : (
