So, my Bachelor's recital is in 18 days. I have 18 days to make my dress. And of course, I have NO IDEA what to do. No, let me re-phrase that. I have TOO MANY IDEAS. I have a bunch of fabric, I can buy more, and I've got three dress patterns but can buy another one...this is why I take extra hours at the library. I really like the bottom pattern (the Vogue one) it's really classy yet not overtly flashy... ideal for a recital. The Simplicity pattern I think maybe (at least for me, someone who can look a bit young in shorter dresses) runs the risk of making you look younger than you are. Also, Simplicity patterns (in my experiance) can fit a bit strangely.

You know, my favourite I think is the Simplicity one! The flouncy line at the bottom of the skirt is so fun, and the bust line adds an extra elegance! Plus your arms are all free for fluting and stuff...although I guess you could say that for all the dresses.

But really dear, they're all beautiful. You have excellent taste and would do well with any of them ;)
