Only one day prior, my VA site had a big pizza & beer party (four or five different kinds of beer, too) for a big teleconference regarding some good business we just got into, so the mood was still pretty

1. Contacts in Baltimore yielded dick; which didn't matter because --
2. No assurance I'll have coverage this weekend, and thus freedom to go out and pretend for a few hours that I've got some kind of a life. And if that wasn't enough,
3. the show is being put on by Primedia, which owns all of the major car mags. My editor delivered a rather scathing rant concerning the current state of car mags, which probably isn't going to win us too many press passes for the next few weeks -- even though he's dead-on-balls accurate with every point in the article.
Ah well, I do hope you have a great time -- and get lotsa' pics, too.
