Oh wow. I have a thing for angst but Italy was perfect and your plot. I'm still impressed with how you actully got such an idea. It's wonderful.

Thank you for writing and posting this. It's a really original idea. At least I've never seen it before; usually fics either don't bring it up or assume the "real world" suicide, and if any Nation did it, it seems at first like that would have been Germany, but it really fits, that Italy's love for Germany would compel him to do such a thing to avenge Germany's suffering(as well as the world's). I just want to hug them all. <3

Oh... Serious!Italy is such an odd image, and Hitler put his own country in one of the camps? That probably helped the Allies win, I can't help but think.

This was such a fantastic fic, heartbreaking but ending with a note of hope.
