This seemed fun, so I'm going for it. Hopefully I'll have a better time with this than the prequel/sequel meme.

You did such a great job with this. <3 All of these did such a good job portraying their characteristics and oddities.

The first time Shinra ever held a scalpal in his hand was also the first time he fell in love.

1.Angst: Sometimes, when Hakuren kisses Teito, he can't help but wonder if the boy is thinking about Mikage.

2.AU: The battlefield is a bloody place, but as Hakuren opens his mouth to give the soldier (no older than him) last rites, he locks gazes with fierce green eyes and somehow knows that the boy isn't going to die today ( ... )

I can acutally see the angst one happening, despite Hakuren's very healthy ego - it's hard to overestimate Mikage's importance to Teito (I also like how it ties in with the humour and H/C ones).
