*returns after trying to chase Red down, and having a run in with Silverbolt, looking both irritated and relieved as she approaches Inferno's berth once again*

Don't worry, Red will be fine - he got away from me, but I found him in the rec room with Smokescreen, so I thought it would be best if I didn't interrupt.

*sighs* Fine. Never could stand up to the pair a ya. *never mind that it was strange standing for the first time in a couple of days*

*gently helps to guide Inferno back towards the berth, then steps back once he's settled* How about I go change your locking code now? *grins mischievously, imagining herself 'forgetting' to transmit the new one to Inferno*

I have another suggestion. *reaches out to take Inferno's hand, twining his fingers through Inferno's, and mentally steadying himself to continue* Move into my quarters. Firestar can have yours.

Yeah, that'd be great... what? *Inferno squeezed Red Alert's hand* Ya serious? I mean, I never thought ya'd... I... yes. Yes! *pulls Red Alert closer, planting a happy kiss on his lips*

*stares in shock for a moment, and then proceeds to do a little victory dance right there in medbay, gyrating happily and giving Inferno a huge grin and two thumbs up behind Red Alert's back* It's about time, you two! Congratulations!

*hunches a bit, looking embarrassed by the enthusiasm of the other two, in such a public place as the medbay*

*mutters* It's not like you don't practically live there already.

*lets go of Red Alert, looking faintly apologetic*

Yeah, well I know that, but... it's just a big step, that's all. *he didn't mention that it was a step he thought they'd never actually take*

*beams happily, pleased as pleased can be, and already plotting ways to comemorate this joyous occasion* It's a big step that you were overdue to take, too.

I thought I was going to have to take matters into my own hands, but I'm glad that isn't needed now. *pats Red Alert lightly on the back* I knew you had it in you, sweetspark.

*huffs, still looking embarrassed* Don't call me that, Firestar. *grumbles, knowing full well that it wouldn't stop her*

*leans back on the berth, emotions warring between relief and sheer happiness*

Red... ya ain't doing this 'cuz a what happened are ya? *he asked quietly*

*frowns disapprovingly as Inferno looks his gift horse in the mouth, but realizes that if the fire engine is right then the two of them could probably do with some privacy to discuss matters* I'll just, umm, go start boxing things up for you...

*backs away from the couple and attempts to retreat*
