What a fascinating insight; to the RP universe (never RPed in my life) and into Jo's mind. Now i feel like sitting in a quiet place, just thinking about... stuff.

*snickergriiin~* XD <3 (..actually, not much of an insight into the big, amazing rp!verse. XD; I'm only really at tenipuri_xp, so. 8D; *dork!*)

Yeayhugs! :D And, yeaythinking~! ^.^ Heheh~ *returnsquish* <3
It's one of those vaguely quiet overcast days conductive to such... 8D I think I'll go sit outside for a while <3

Yes, it's lovely outside! I spent the evening in my garden, even though it's raining here.

Drama? o.o;

... Huh. Interesting, for sure, and neat as well!

It's strange, because although I am Ryoma in another game (two, kind of, but one game was dead before I started playing), I picked that one up just a little while ago and I've been playing in XP for six months or something and I can't help but feel like xp!Ryo is... more Ryoma than the one who plays tennis in my other game. Because XP was the first game that I joined with a canon character and I was so worried about playing Ryoma at first, but quickly (within a comment or two, it was uncanny) settled into the thing you mentioned above where I didn't have to go "Is this him?" or "Would he say this?" and it was... a nice kind of strange. (Or maybe a strange kind of nice. ^^;) I think he's moved in and taken over and won't let any other incarnation of Ryoma in. And now I'm really, really attached to him to boot. :O

NiouRyo is strange wonderful crack <3 and there are no bounds for it to be within. :D;; Same thing with Ryoma and relationships as with Niou, though - all I ( ... )

*nod* XD; Managed to piss two humans off fairly well. *fails at tact and commonsense!* - resulting in what can really only be described as your Standard Teen Drama. 8D;

*laughs~* Ah, I know how that feels. XD; Niou's also a very picky doorman (to everyone and other versions of himself both :D;). And, yeah. ^.^ It's weird how despite the powers and impregnationother random weirdness that goes on in xp, the whole thing in general just works. Actually, it's pretty darned cool. XD;

*griiin~!* That is very true. XD On all counts! (omg 'wonderful crack' is right. spikybabies 8D;;) When it comes down to it, there's rarely much back story shown (minor characters, in particular) and you can only speculate about their reasons for doing things and such from what you see during the one afternoon match that is drawn up. XD Which makes for yayinterpretation! Or something like that~

It is! :D It's just.. fun. XD Moreso (i find personally) than writing alone, because it's with omgreal!people, and with actual interactions and things. XD ((this is ( ... )

Aww. ::pats all parties in need of such patting~::

Yes, I'm amazed at how well XP works. (And I love it so much.) But I definitely get much more excited about things happening there than my other game, generally. And now I feel weird writing a Ryoma who lives/breathes/eats/sleeps tennis. XD;

Sometimes crack works, I guess. (OMG they have to name it or something, don't they? I have no ideas.... :D;;) And right - there's only so much you get to go on, and the rest you kind of have to make up and hope it fits with what you do see. Sometimes it works out really, really well, and it's neat to read when it does.

And yes, writing with other people is nice, because it gives you someone to bounce ideas off of and keeps it interesting because it's kind of like you're not doing all the work, and it's more like life that way. I think that's how things/characters in RPs so easily and often take on lives of their own. (And hee, no, I won't sentence him to my fate <3) And yeah, sometimes I think a mun and a characters just click and... life is ( ... )

I told Mona and Mel I was going to bed but alas, I've lied.

D1 fascinates me because they're two sides of the same coin, among other things. They're a bit like the yin-yang symbol, with a bit of each inside the other, and I really believe that anyone with a muse for one of them could very easily play the other, which I really don't think is possible with all "canon" (popular) pairs. (Well, at least if 'anyone' approaches RP the same way that I do, with the whole muse concept rather than strict puppetmaster writer concept.)

Which, well, leads me to the next point -- I RP because it's fun, like I keep saying, but also because it's interactive, and it's social, omg wow! which not all other forms of writing really are. It takes more brainpower to sit and write a tag than it does to watch TV. It takes better listening skill to hear a character's voice when you do so. I've sort of stopped subscribing to the notion that all the muses are things that 'actually exist somewhere', but I don't disagree with saying that a character voice can ( ... )

... XD; <3

Yes, agreed. :D Personally, I like exploring that fact over seeing how insane they can get before one, um. Breaks. ; Though either path is interesting in its own right (and really, the sheer duplicity thing can easily be taken as a mark of insanity anyway). XD; --and it definitely isn't. ^^ InuKai for instance, is a pair I'm pretty sure would require two separate brains. But then again, I've never had a very good handle on Inui past 'omgsexygeek', so. XD;

*grin* Yuki, more bastard than beauty? He is that too, true. 8D; (Though, argh - the prettiness that is Shinjitsu eats the brain <3) His, "Hay team. Your movements suck." was so awesomely blunt.

And - honestly? I don't personally see your Yagyuu as off base. XD He is very extreme, yes, but there's Hiroshi, who is more fanon Yags, I think; Yagyuu the Gentleman; and Eidolon who's like switchedon!Yags. It is muchmoreconvolutedfun to have him the crazy one. XD I also think it makes more sense in a progression kind of way - the stiff one would have more reason to break out ( ... )

Salsabanana. XD I miss Sengoku's nicknames.

...You have lots of Nious' in your head. :D;;

I think, the thing about muses are, they are sort of like an extension of yourself. Sometimes you pick up a character and suddenly, it just clicks, said character moves into your brain and somehow it seems perfect in an weird sort of way. Sometimes, oddly enough, you find yourself picking up your muses habits, I know some people who do. XD (Whit and her toothbrush, Anne Marie and her Oishi-ness, etc) Heck, I know I'm picking up some of Oshitari's habits (which should worry me somehow), habits I've never had before.

I would love to say that we'll grow out of this whole "muse-in-our-heads" sort of phrase but I think some of us will never will. Not with the way Yuushi keeps interrupting my classes with snark and useless tensai advice. D: And by now I'mm so used to having Yuushi in my head and I'm going to worry if I don't, which doesn't make sense like my whole post but yes.

Er. I think I've babbled enough. :D;;

Hee~! 8D; Salsabananadorkysama~! XD I totally miss playing with that, too <3 ;

XD; I suspect he's just the one muse who wears hats.

Agreed. ^^ I mean, obviously they must be some part of you, since it's essentially your creative drive or whatever that fuels them. XD; (as much as they do have minds of their own) - they're like plugins! 8D ...and some aren't compatable. 8DD;; /geekdork. Hee~ omg, that's so cool. XD <3 (ooh, the romance movies and crying? XD *snickergrin~*)

Yeah. ^^ Like Alichan said, it's an expression of creativity, so it's like... you - which could change, and the way you express things could change, sure, but I don't think it's something to grow out of <3 Ohgod. XD; At least it's advice? <3 In lectures, Niou's always like. :F *brainpoke* Oi. I'm bored. Draw me.It totally does make sense. 8D; If Niou up and left my brain, I'd be like - wth? Why do I know anything about darts? Why do I wish to retain my Legal terminology? *blink* ... *scraps it* ...omg, THERE'S NOTHING LEFT ( ... )
