Theory: He'll die, but it'll be a disney death with a good chance of coming back in a sequel.
Desired outcome: Voldemort is suddenly reduced to a pile of dust, then someone in dark robes steps out of the shadows and makes a speech about the stupidity of their system of magic, before proceeding to let loose with actual useful attack spells, such as fireballs and lightning bolts.
He won't die. Beginning of a chapter in [I *think*] Chamber of Secrets? ..."years from now Harry would look back on these hours..." [paraphrasing as I cba to find the exact cite atm.] Anyway, that passage convinces me he won't die

Okay, I'll give you that one because it does sound as though Harry will be alive for quite some time to come (because that's how people use that phrase - "years" = 10, 20, etc.). Taken literally, though, "years" could be five. :P (and even more literally, "years" could be two...but my honey's home all this next week and I'm not gonna spend all my time with him searching out a hypothetical excerpt that would back up my half-baked theory. I hope you can forgive me for that ;))
I dunno about Snape. He's been around the Dark Lord enough, I can't imagine that he thought Voldie would be overly pleased to hear that he violated one of V.'s orders (because, as I remember, Draco was ordered to kill Dumbly, not Snape), so to me, killing Dumbledore would be an act to save Draco, and therefore not completely selfish. Then again, I would imagine that V. would be happy that Dumbly's dead, and therefore might not care how it came about. Meh, guess I'll see how it all works out in about a week ^.^
Yeah, I don't watch the movies on principle. >.<
