Thank you. Saved to share! We have friends - well, not my friends but people we know well - who are anti-vaxxers. I think they're confused rather than malicious but the effect is the same.
There are relatively few actively malicious anti-vaxxers - most are just misguided or sceptical.
Some of it is science's own fault - for decades it sneered at lay people instead of engaging in an accessible fashion. And you only had to listen to some of the Remain vote to hear an arrogance about the worth of people whose skills were gained outside of university.
Why should they listen, when they are never listened to?
