Oh man, I wish you'd translate this--I got into Hetalia too, and it was a total surprise to see that someone else in my flist had, especially a good writer who writes a pairing hardly anyone writes well. I bet the hetalia comm would love this (and there probably are some Italian speakers on there, too--lots of international folks)! But translating is kind of a hassle, so. I'm glad someone else got into it, anyway. *g*

Sure I remember you! Hey, I'm happy you're a fan too, despite its OBVIOUS canonic status Gertalia seems to have so few fans sometimes I feel like despairing XD Anyway, I'll translate this if you're interested (I should go back to do a bit of translating anyway, I haven't since Heroes' times), but I must warn you: it's just a stupid PWP involving coffee and a kitchen counter and not particularly well-written, so it may prove a big disappointment XD

My favorite Germany/Italy fic out there doesn't seem to have gotten a whole lot of attention, alas, but it is wonderful-- Lovely View, Isn't It?, by meltedpeep. So there is at least a little of it out there! Just, y'know. It gets buried. As for the fic just being a PWP: who cares, it's probably better than most of the stuff on the comm anyway *g*

Have you read elapsedspiral's works? I recommend Messages and Oktoberfest and Dating Advices (which is also US/UK - but I don't care much about them - plus a number of other canonical couples)! Her Feliciano is rather more serious and mature than in the canon, which one might or might not like (I do), but in any case the fics are very good!

Tutti i personaggi hanno due nomi, uno geografico e uno umano. Siccome di Italia ce ne sono due, si chiamano Italia Veneziano e Italia Romano, ma i nomi umani sono Feliciano e Lovino Vargas.
