Big Boom or not Big Boom?

I'm trying to decide whether I'll sign-up for this year's heroes_bigboom challenge or not. I wrote a list of pros and cons to clear my mind a bit.

Cons:

- It's fucking 10,000 words. (That makes: 10,000 to write and other 10,000 to translate. And 10,000 for snopes_faith to beta, of course. Hi, Caroline, how are you? *waves paw

I've got mixed views too. On the totally selfish side I say "go for it" because it means lots more quality Heroes fic for the world and God knows it needs it.
On the other, I'm conscious you've just been through a massive academic project and will be studying hard again come the Autumn. Therefore, I wonder if taking a little rest from writing might be beneficial for your brain.
Then yet AGAIN, it seems to me that born writers like yourself seem to get angsty and squirrely when deprived of the impetus to write.

So ultimately, it is will be great if you throw your hat into the ring but totally understandable if you choose not to.
