It Might Get Loud / Приготовьтесь, будет громко
Thanks to bluesteel_44 for reminding me :) We went to watch this movie today. It turned to be that "House of Cinema" had an exclusive right to show it and there was the only one copy of this movie in my city. So there was nothing to worry about, cause I almost got upset that I missed it in better cinemas :)
It didn't "get loud" :D The sound was awesome as well as stories of each musician. It was world of rock and music, but I would say there was alot of soul in this movie. It was sincere. They were telling about sacred things, about that music what lives in them and which ways they use to share that music with everyone. Guitars, guitars and one more guitars :D Yes, guitars were main characters of the movie.
Edge is amazing, I don't have anything to add! Because I love this guy as much as all members of U2. His guitar riffs has always been making me impresses and rocked alot. When they were showing parts from U2 concert there was the only one thought: "Aaaaaahhh!! I want to go to a concert!". I also was pleased to see very old archive materials of U2 . I've never heard and never seen U2 (I mean video) when they were The Hype. It's impressing! I also like Edge talking. Thanks to "House of Cinema" for subtitles and possibility to enjoy real sound and real voices. Walking along Dublin, retrospective were so cool. From Edge's stories I liked the most the part where he was comparing trees in the forest and his vision of music. That sometimes you only need to look at something from the other angle and the picture will become clear. It's a very sincere and honest thing. It makes you think. Stories about "War" touched me as well.
I've never listened to Led Zeppelin, but I liked Jimmy Page alot :D He's so nice and you instantly start trusting him. He also was telling interesting stories and sharing secrets of his skills and talent.
I don't really understand music of Jack White. It's somehow not for my tastes. But in the movie there were shown guitarists from three generations and if to remember that White is from modern generation then I pay respect to him for being original and for trying to create something of his own, something special. He definitely doesn't try to follow modern music styles and famous cliches, but he's choosing his way. Also you can see his devotion to things he does and all his efforts he takes. It's his way to express himself and fans of The White Stripes find something close to them in their music. But I liked songs when he was in the band The Raconteurs though.
In the very end when they were jamming and improvising where each of them was playing his own guitar you could catch clear sound of guitar of Edge, Jack and Jimmy. They have different sounds and maybe that's the thing what makes each of them a genius.
And they were singing a wonderful song, so nice! :)
It's a good movie. Definitely.
Спасибо bluesteel_44, что напоминила :) Сходили сегодня на этот фильм. Оказывается в "Доме Кино" был эксклюзивный показ и это была единственная копия в Петербурге. Так что зря я вначале почти расстроилась :)
"Громко" не было :D Звучание было великолепным, как и истории каждого из музыкантов. Это был мир рока и музыки, но я бы назвала этот фильм душевным. Они рассказывали о самом сокровенном, о той музыке, которая живет именно в них, и то какими способами они пользуются, чтобы поделиться этой музыкой со всеми. Гитары, гитары и еще раз гитары :D Да, именно они и были главными героинями фильма.
Эйдж бесподобен, тут без комментариев! Потому что этого товарища люблю наравне со всеми участниками U2. Его гитарные рифы всегда завораживали и заводили. Когда показывали кадры с концертов U2, то единственной мыслью было: "АААА!! Хочу на концерт!". Меня также порадовали очень старые архивные материалы U2. Я никогда не слышала и не видела U2 (в плане видео), когда они еще были The Hype. Это что-то! Мне нравится как Эдж рассказывает. Спасибо "Дому Кино" за субтитры и возможность насладиться живым звучанием и живыми голосами. Прогулки по Дублину, ретроспектива - это здорово. Из рассказа Эджа меня больше всего зацепил момент про деревья в лесу и его видение музыки. То что иногда нужно всего лишь взглянуть на вещь под другим углом и картина станет ясной. Очень откровенная и искренняя вещь. Заставляет задуматься. Рассказы о "Войне" тоже впечатлили.
Никогда не слушала Led Zeppelin, но Джимми Пэйдж мне очень понравился :D Такой он приятный и сразу располагает к себе. Он тоже очень интересно рассказывал и делился секретами своего мастерства.
Музыку Джека Уайта я не очень понимаю. Как-то не ложится она мне на ухо. Но в фильме представлены гитаристы трех поколений, и если учесть то, что Уайт относится к современному поколению, то я отдаю ему должное в оригинальности и в попытках создать что-то свое, что-то особенное. Он определенно не пытается следовать современному музыкальному течению и заданным клише, а избирает свой путь. Также у него можно видеть преданность своему делу и усилия, которые он в это вкладывает. Это его способ самовыражения, фанаты The White Stripes находят свое отражение в этой музыке. Хотя мне понравились песни, когда он был в группе The Raconteurs.
В самом конце, когда они устроили импровизацию, где каждый играл на своей гитаре, можно было уловить четкое звучание гитары Эджа, Джека и Джимми. Их звуки различаются, возможно в этом и состоит гениальность каждого из них.
И песню они спели замечательно! :)
Хорошее кино. Определенно.
