Rereading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince...

A particular quote caught my eye:

Read the passage where Harry is chasing Snape across the grounds, after Dumbledore dies.. yeah, Snape's taunting him, but he still sounds an awful lot like a teacher, telling Harry to close his mind.. I'm firmly in the "I trust Severus Snape" camp after reading that. And when you think about it.. it's kind of going to mirror PS/SS. We all thought Snape was the guy trying to steal the stone in that book, we're all going to go into this book thinking Snape is an evil bastard who killed Dumbledore.. but he's going to end up being on our side and helping Harry in the end.

Mm, yeah, I really, really thought that Snape was redeemable... but I'm starting to have my doubts. =/
