Maybe Quinn had a slight hidden agenda - in that she agreed because as much as Rachel wanted to know if Finn would entertain the idea of going back to Quinn, Quinn also wanted to know. Quinn also wanted to know where she stood, if he still had feelings for her. If he would try again with her. It's the only reason. So yes she did it for Rachel, but she also was genuinely intrested because she still has feelings for him....... ? It would explain why she looked so sad when she walked away from Rachel, and she looked so damn depressed in "The only exception".
I agree with you there. I don't think Quinn was helping Rachel at all. Why would she?? I think she was a teensy bit interested to see if she still had a chance. But at the same time I also think she knew she was going to be turned down. She looked a little depressed even when he was saying he still had feelings for her. This wasn't about Rachel at all
( ... )
i despise when writers use one ship to prop up another. if the other ship were interesting enough to stand on their own, they wouldn't need to do that.
Glee seems like they're going to do that a lot. Like, Rachel has to be with Finn because Jesse was mean to her. So... she needs to be with Finn. They don't show us why *he* is good for her.
Same for Finn/Quinn vs Finn/Rachel in s1.
They'll probably mess Mike/Tina up to make Artie/Tina happen again instead of improving Artie, also.
