Dinner In Hell, Chapter 1/2

“I have to admit I was little sceptical about this, but I did have fun.” Martin smirked when he opened the door and walked in. Danny followed and headed straight to the bedroom.

“Me too, but that whole ice tea episode was really not necessary.” He pulled his shirt off. “That Hawkes guy has some serious problems with his self control. I was proud of you actually.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. You handled it well.”
“I thought so too.” Martin grinned smugly.
“But compared to that clown it’s pretty easy to top him. And I don’t mean that in a sexy way.”
“In his defence, I gotta say you provoked him.”
“I didn’t do anything!”
“You were winding him up like a cuckoo clock. And you did that leaning thing.”
“What leaning thing?”
“When you talk to people and lean against them.”
“I don’t do that.”
“You do that. I think that was the last straw.”
“I hadn’t met Don for a while, we were catching up.”
“I know, and you wanted to push that guys buttons.”
“Which guy?”
“His current one. And he didn’t cover it up well. “Whoops, sorry, I didn’t see you there, let me get you a towel”…. That was so phoney.”
“I think I gotta throw away that shirt.” Danny scratched his belly absentmindedly.
“Just put it to the washer, I’ll take a look at it later.”
“Awwww… that’s really touching.” Danny smirked. “My very own little housewife.”

“Housewives are woman who don’t have a job outside their house. I’m a guy and I have a job.”
“You know what I mean, wifey.”
“Stop that.”
“What is it, honey? Headache? That time of month?”
“See what I mean? You like to get on peoples nerves.”
“That’s part of my charm.”
“Yeah, and sometimes it gets you soaked with ice tea.”

----------------------------------

“Come on. Just say it, I know you want to.” Hawkes had his arms wrapped across his chest, like a petulant kid. “Just say it and get it out of the way.”

“I would but I don’t even know what to say.” Don commented and continued surfing through the TV channels. “You invite people for dinner and then pour a pitcher of ice tea on them.”
“Not them, just him. And he was asking for it.”
“Doc.”
“Fine, I lost control, but he was pushing me!”
“He wasn’t even looking at you, he was talking to me.”
“Exactly!”
“You have any idea what that sounds like?”
“Like a little kid, I know. But it felt good.”
“You made a fool of yourself.”
“I don’t care. That guy was making moves on you.”
“He wasn’t.”
“He was. He kept leaning against you.”
“He always does that.”
“And he had his hand on your thigh.”
“He’s tactile.”
“He was all over you.”
“Did you see where his other hand was?”
“No….”
“On that Martin guy’s thigh and a lot higher. You really think he would try something right there in front of his boyfriend?”
“Maybe.”
“I gotta admit it’s kinda funny to see that side of you.”
“What side?”
“You’re always this big know-it-all and snap, suddenly you’re like a jealous little kid.”
“I wasn’t.”
“Little bit of jealousy is cute, but if you keep doing that for much longer, it kinda looses it’s charm.”

“You want me to admit it? Yes, I got jealous and I went too far. Happy now?”
“Yep.”
“Are you going to keep torturing me?”
“I don’t torture people.”
“Yes, you do. With that smug look on your face.”
“Usually you’re the one who looks smug.” Don grinned. “Now you what it’s like on the other side.”
“Are going to tell people about this?”
“Maybe.”

Hawkes let out a deep sigh.
“Please.”
“Come here.” Don bragged Hawkes by his belt and pulled him closer till he was sitting on Don’s lap. “My silence isn’t cheap.”
“What’s the price?”
Don’s hand slid down to cup Sheldon’s butt. “Keep bargaining and I’ll tell you when you can stop.”

----------------------------------

“Danny?”
“Hmmmm….?” Danny murmured sleepily and buried his face deeper to his pillow.
“Are you asleep?”
“Not anymore.”
“Great. Remember what you said about how mature and civilised I was?”
“I didn’t say that, I just said you handled it well.”
“Same thing. Wanna know how I did it?”
“If I listen will you let me sleep?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay, tell me.”
“That redhead from the administration.”
“Which one?”
“The one who had that ridiculous nickname…. what was it….”
“D-Class Danielle?”
“Yeah, that one. I didn’t understand that name until I met her. That pair is seriously impressive.”
“Get to the point.”
“I heard her talking to you.”
“When?”
“Last month. When she offered you a spectator seat in her pole dancing class. And some private lessons afterwards.”
“So you were eavesdropping.”
“No, I just happened to be crouching down behind the filing cabinet.”
“You were eavesdropping.”
“Anyway, I kept thinking about that tonight, when I was beginning to get nervous.”
“Why?”
“If you can say no to that rack, I can trust you to stay faithful even with your ex.”
“That’s really touching.”
“I thought so too.”
“Good. Now shut up and go to sleep.”
