ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Your ending was really well done; it wrapped the fic up very nicely and also delved into the psyches of our heroes. Nice Madara cameo as well. I really enjoyed reading this; it's a really good possibility for their backstory and their future (alas, why must I like villains :().

Oh, yeah, I totally think Pein and Konan will have a tragic ending of some kind in canon. It's sad, but then, in some weird way, I think I like them because they do seem so tragic to me, so it wouldn't really seem right if their stories didn't end tragically. XD;

Madara is fun to write!
