That's awesome.
I love places where 18 is the legal age.
Although I feel strange buying cigars and ordering beers, I feel like I'm doing somthing illegal.

Man, don't go to one of them magazine and cigar stores. Make sure you find a quality tobaccist.

Cigars=travel 5k to a place on "Rue St. Phillipe"
Cigarettes=one of the thousand "Tobac" retailers in the neighborhood.

In Quebec, if you need a cigarette, you can usually just stop a four-year-old in the street, and get one off him. That, or bum one off a pregnant mother.

I seem to remember the tobac stores and gas stations in Quebec having good selections - counter-top humidors, that sort of thing. That was a few years ago I was there, though. I think I mostly just focused on the vast grocery store liquor departments.

Widely available and cheap tobacco, alcohol, and high-fat foods: Those Frenchies have it figured out. God forbid they ever separate.

It's amazing the amount of cheap alcohol in Quebec. It seems like at the end of every aisle in the grocery store is a mountain of Stella, Keith's and some manner of french beer called Blanche.
