I read about this at work today. I'm still in shock. So sad.

He was so talented and had so much potential, not to mention a two-year-old baby girl he adored. It's such a tragedy.

To borrow Petra's line, when she texted me the news, "RIP Lichtenstein". So sad:(

Now he's up there changing the stars for us all.

Here's something for y'all. It was posted a year ago, and I had it on my account because I like the song (long story). It is strangely appropriate:

His death is a tragedy, so young and full of promise, with a beautiful little girl. Maybe now some will take the dangers of certain prescription pills more seriously.

What a good picture of him. Didn't believe the news when I first heard it. I am sad too.

I was shocked at first, and then kept hoping it would be wrong, that it was someone who looked like him or that he was in a coma or something.
I don't quite understand why this has hit me as hard as it has. I was a fan, but not necessarily a fanatic. Every time I read more about it or see some update on the news or something, I start crying again. It's just so sad.

Maybe I'm just stressed out and needing to cry and his death is the perfect outlet.

Then maybe that makes 2 of us that are stressed out and just need an outlet to cry but honestly I think it's just because this kind of senseless death isn't supposed to happen. He wasn't the star that you read about in the tabloids, he wasn't linked to drugs or bad behavior, he was a good guy with an angelic smile and he should have been here a long time. Bad things like this shouldn't happen to good people. The worst part is that because he was a good guy it may be what killed him. If what they say is true, that he was having trouble sleeping because his role as the Joker, and if he wasn't able to sleep then it is possible he accidently took too many pills, plus they said he was taking Ambian. When my Dad took that stuff he had crazy hallucinating dreams, I would hate to think that Heath had the same problem and took more pills without realizing what he had done.

Now they're saying that the housekeeper saw him alive and sleeping (she heard him snoring) about 1:45, and an hour later (when the masseuse got there) he was dead? It doesn't make any sense. Plus, they found him on the floor, apparently? Did he have some sort of bad Joker-esque dream that gave him a heart attack? I don't get it. You would think the housekeeper would have heard a thud or something...

It's just such a senseless loss. He had his whole life ahead of him, and a baby girl he adored. I can't help but think of her and how she'll never know him or remember him. It's just so sad.
